  HANKINSON
  
     Robert J. Hankinson, 49, of Manns Choice RD 1 died Aug. 19, 1996, at
  Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.  Born March 4, 1947, in Johnstown, the
  son of James A. and Mary Etta (Hillegass) Hankinson.  Preceded in death by
  father and wife, Mary Ann (McGann) Hankinson, who died Sept. 23, 1992. 
  Survived by mother, Bedford; son, Patrick J., at home; daughter, Melanie
  S., Hermitage; brothers, Eugene M., Somerset, and Stephen, New Baltimore;
  sister, Audrey, Somerset.  Employed as fabricator for Creative Pullusions,
  Alum Bank.  Former employee of Standard Register Co. of Bedford.  Member of
  St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Baltimore and Knights of
  Columbus.  Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Mickle-Geisel
  Funeral Home, Schellsburg.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at
  St. John the Baptist Church, New Baltimore, with Rev. Mark Begley,
  celebrant.  Burial, church cemetery.  A wake service will be held at 8:30
  p.m. today, followed by a rosary service by the Knights of Columbus, at the
  funeral home.
