JAMES HANLIN Emma Jean Hanlin, 55, National, Md., died Thursday, August 30, at her residence. She was born in Mt. Savage, Md. and was an adopted child of the late Thomas and Marian (McMillan) Plummer. Mrs. Hanlin was a member of the Frostburg Church of the Brethren, the Ladies Fellowship of the Church and the Sacred Heart Bowling League. Survivors include her mother, Emma Canfield, Cumberland, Md., and her husband, James Hanlin; two daughters, Barbara Rafferty, National, and Bonnie Martin, Grantsville, Md.; three sons, Thomas Hanlin, Frostburg, Md.; William Hanlin, Tacoma, Wash.; James Hanlin, Keyser, W.Va., and nine grandchildren. Services were conducted Tuesday, September 4, in the Eichhorn Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Greene, with interment in Frostburg Memorial Park. Republic, September 13, 1979 [H0192]
