Hann, 84, Somerset, formerly of Friedens, died Feb. 20, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 24, 1922, in Bedford, son of Thorton and Annabelle (Brown) Hann. Preceded in death by parents; son, Richard Miller; brothers, Albert and Simon "Jack" Hann; sisters, Clara Kudrick, Mary Yates and Sarah Hann. Survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Gleneve Berkebile; children, William Hann Jr., married to the former Lisa Lochner, Everett; Diane Brant, Westmont; Pam, married to Michael Murphy, Salisbury, N.C.; and Barry Miller, married to the former Ruth Brownsberger, Somerset; grandchildren, Tim, Tiffany, Shawn, Ashley, Justine, Angela, John, Amanda, Josh, and Krista; and seven great-grandchildren. He is a World War II Army veteran and a retired bridge foreman from James Julian Construction, Wilmington, Del. He attended Reading Brethren Church. Member of Robert P. Hite Post 257 American Legion, Stoystown and the Bedford Moose Lodge. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Larry R. Weigle officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Graveside military rites by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Legion service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
