Born March 22, 1904, in Jenner Crossroads, Somerset County, daughter of Robert P. and Lily Mae (Daniels) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Francis Earl, in 1935; and sister, Mrs. Margaret Rice. Survived by these children; Robert E., at home; Betty H., wife of Edgar Tyler, Ruth E., wife of Wayne Friedline, and Madelyn H., wife of Wayne Thomas, all of Ligonier; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Alyce Barron, Davidsville, and Mrs. Louise Thomas, Boswell. Member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell. Member and past president of the auxiliary to Boswell Post 461 American Legion. Past district director of American Legion Auxiliary. Retired owner and operator of Hanna Beauty Shop, Boswell. Most recently retired from Boswell Prescription Center. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny Street, Boswell. Service at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church with the Rev. George A. Clark officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pa.
