Hanning, 85, of Damascus, Md., died March 2, 1997, at her home. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Hanning. Born June 29, 1911, in Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late William Wilson and Arminta Mae (Otto) Folk. She was a retired draftsman from the Vitro Corp. and member of the Neelsville Presbyterian Church, Germantown, Md., and the Widening Horizons, Damascus. Surviving are one daughter, Audrienne M. Runkles and her husband Lester Jr. of Damascus; two grandchildren, Karen Runkles Murdock and her husband Robert of Mount Airy, and Eric Runkles and his wife Melinda of Damascus, and three great-grandchildren: Samantha A. Murdock, Timothy I. Murdock and Rebecca L. Runkles. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Rd., Damascus, where services will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jimmy Fox will officiate.
