HARAH Frank A. Harah, 75, died suddenly at his home in Rockwood, on Friday, September 9. He was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. S. Harah and was born at Ursina on May 21, 1874. He was twice married. His first wife, Mrs. Flora Witt Harah and a son died some years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Harah and the following children from the first marriage: Merle Harah of Pittsburgh; Ray and Elizabeth Harah of Connellsville; Mrs. Raymond Burley of Rockwood; and six grandchildren. Mr. Harah was principal of the Rockwood School and served eight years as clerk of the court of Somerset County. He later moved to Dunbar County. Moving back to Somerset County, he lived at Breezewood Park, and the past year at Rockwood. He is a member of the E.U.B. Church at Jenner Crossroads and has been a member of the Kingwood Oddfellows Lodge for 35 years. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Rockwood E.U.B. Church with the Rev. O. A. Womer and the Rev. J. S. Eminhizer officiating. Burial was under the direction of Mills and Mickey, Rockwood. The body was laid to rest in the Odd Fellows cemetery, with services at the grave by the Kingwood Odd Fellows Lodge. Meyersdale Republican, September 15, 1949
