All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ LENA HARBAUGH Mrs. Lena Harbaugh, 98 year old widow of the late David Harbaugh, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucinda Younkin Johnson, in Connellsville, Sunday afternoon, September 21st, after a short illness. Mrs. Harbaugh had been bedfast only ten days, and had been very active for one of her advanced age previous to that time. Mrs. Harbaugh was born near Scullton, Somerset County, in 1832, and lived practically all her life in that community. Since the death of her husband, about 20 years ago, she made her home with her daughters. She is survived by six daughters, namely: Mrs. Joseph Ream, of near Confluence; Mrs. Wilson Conn, Scullton; Mrs. Lucinda Johnson, Connellsville; Mrs. Rosetta Miner, Markleton; Mrs. Martha Laugherey, Farmington, Del., and Mrs. M. C. Stoner, Robinson, Ill. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., in the Maple Summit Church, near Ohiopyle. Interment in the Immel Cemetery at Clay Run, Fayette County. Among those from Confluence who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Sophia Bowlin, Mrs. John Turney and family and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ream. Meyersdale Republican, September 25, 1930
