Born Feb. 8, 1919, in Normalville, a daughter of the late Braden M. and Margaret M. Miller Brooks. Attended the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Mill Run and was a member of the Mill Run Grange 1109. Survived by 2 daughters: Vivian Biler and her husband Charles of Connellsville RD 2 and Sandy Tressler of Somerset; 2 sons: Larry D. Harbaugh and his wife Dorothy of Mill Run RD 1 and Rodney Harbaugh of Chicago, Ill.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mrs. Charles (Ellen) Prinkey of New Kensington, Mrs. Lottie Firestone of Connellsville and Mrs. Loretta Pearl Coffman of Warren, Ohio, and a brother, Henry D. Brooks of Normalville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lester D. Harbaugh on June 6, 1987; 3 brothers, Roy, Jacob and Harry Brooks, and 3 sisters, Emma Lou Echard, Maude Kistler and Eva Mae Carr. Friends were received Sunday and will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Route 711, Melcroft, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
