She was born Dec. 27, 1913, in Manns Choice, daughter of Silas and Viola (Miller) Scritchfield. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Orville R.; sons, Ross and James; and four sisters and a brother. She is survived by these children; Richard, Nottingham; William, New Paris; Joseph, Paradise; Betty Warren and Nancy Roudabush, both of Gainesville, Fla.; Peggy Bohms, Polo, Ill.; Jay, Altoona; Velma Johnson, East Freedom; and Orville Jr. and Naomi, at home. She was a sister of Kenneth, Akron, Ohio; Tobias, Colon, Mich.; Dorothy Mischler, Meyersdale; and Gladys Ludwick, Bedford. She was a pulp wood contractor, was affiliated with Church of God, New Paris. Friends were received at Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville, where services were held with the Rev.
