  HARBRANT
  
  Miss Frances M. Harbrant, 82, of New Baltimore, died Dec. 8, 1983, at
  home.  Born June 17, 1901, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Francis and
  Mary (Shane) Harbrant.  Preceded in death by three sisters.  A sister of
  Mrs. Edwin (Grace) Gaffney of Greensburg; and Miss Marie Harbrant, Fort
  Lauderdale, Fla.  Was a graduate of California State Teachers College,
  Pa.  Attended University of Pittsburgh.  Was a school teacher in Somerset
  County schools for 40 years, retired in 1959.  Member of St. John the
  Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, where Mass of Christian Burial will
  be celebrated noon Saturday with the Rev. Ray Nolan, O.Carm., officiating. 
  Interment, church cemetery.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
