She was born in Dudley, Jan. 11, 1925, a daughter of the late Cesarina and Angelo Masciocchi. Also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Masciocchi and Vera Reed. On Dec. 26, 1946, she married Robert E. Harclerode. He survives her along with the following children: son, Robert A. Harclerode and wife Kathy, of Andover, N.J., and their children Tina, Joshua, Rhiannon, Rob, Meredith and Katie; son, Angelo Harclerode, and wife Elizabeth, Bedford, and their children Justin, Maddie, Katy, Ian and Drew; daughter, Stephanie, and husband George Brouillet, Ellicott City, MD., and their children Mary Kate and George III; daughter, Annette, and husband Mark Winkler, of Iowa City, IA, and their children Ian, Rachel and Emily; daughter, Rebecca, and husband Bill Shuster, Hollidaysburg, and their children Ali and Garrett; son, Aaron Harclerode, and wife Gillian, Exton, and their daughter Isabella. Mary also has five great-grandchildren, and is survived by a sister Grace Facchinei, and three brothers: Louis Masciocchi, Anthony Masciocchi and Alfred Masciocchi. Mary is a 1942 graduate of Everett High School and a 1946 graduate of Mount Aloysius College in Cresson. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett, where she played an active role in the ladies' organization and faithfully served in many aspects of the church's community. Mary and her husband owned and operated the Montgomery Ward Catalogue agency in Everett from 1964 to 1986. Most recently, she was self-employed as a personal home health aide. Her favorite role, however, was wife, mother and grandmother to her six children, and 24 grandchildren. "Booies", as she was lovingly known to her grandchildren, loved prayer and reading, cooking and gardening, pencil sketching, and caring for others. She enjoyed finding beauty in the simple joys of life. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett. A wake service will be held Sunday at the funeral home at 8:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Everett. The Rev. Norman P. Imgrund officiating. Interment will follow at The Ave Maria Cemetery in Dudley.
