  HARDESTY
  
    Ellen A. Hardesty, 58, Somerset RD 4, died Sept. 24, 1989, at her
  residence.  Born March 8, 1931, in Hazelton, W.Va., daughter of Cora Edith
  (Ault) Savage, Friendsville, Md., and the late William R. Savage.  Preceded
  in death by her husband, Harold L. Sr., and a son, Harold L. Jr.  Survived
  by these children: Rodney A., married to the former Debra Bittner,
  Somerset; Mrs. James G. (Darlene) Thomas, Berlin; Kevin G., married to the
  former Beverly Bumbarger, Somerset RD 4; and 2 grandchildren, Andrew
  Romesberg and Amber Hardesty.  Sister of Mrs. Alice Sisler, Robert and Ray,
  all of Friendsville, Md.; Mrs. Foster (Shirley) Sines, Salisbury; D. Glen of
  Elliot City, Md.; Mrs. Ernest (Patty) Martin, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Howard
  (Elma) Williams, Cheyenne, Wyo.; James, Frostburg, Md.; and Miss Jean
  Savage, Friendsville, Md.  Member of Mt. Cavalry Lutheran Church and
  Somerset Grange 1697.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Ziegler Funeral Home, where service will be held
  Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald L. Knowles officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to the Somerset
  In-Touch Hospice, 141 E. Patriot St., Somerset, Pa., or the Keystone
  Chapter for the March of Dimes, 1207 12th Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16601.
