  HAROLD HARDESTY
  
    Harold L. Hardesty, 58, of Somerset RD 4, died April 28, 1982, at his
  residence.
    He was born May 14, 1923, in Terra Alta, W.Va., son of the late Chester
  and Pearl (Reckart) Hardesty.
    Also preceded in death by son, Harold L. Jr. and a brother, Chester, he
  is survived by wife, the former Ellen Savage, and these children: Darlene,
  wife of Wayne Romesburg, Rockwood; and Rodney and Kevin, both of Somerset
  RD 4; one grandson.
    He was a brother of John, Carlsbad, Calif.; Ray, Hagerstown, Md.; Mrs.
  Norman (Ruby) Edeburn, Clarksburg, W.Va.; Mrs. Frank (Hazel) Frantz, Silver
  Spring, Md.
    He was a member of the VFW and the Pinkerton Mill Club A, veteran of
  World War II, and an employee of Somerset State Hospital.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service
  was conducted with the Rev. Walter Startzel officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
