All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ANNIE ENGLE HARDING Mrs. Annie (Engle) Harding, aged 66 years, 11 months and 22 days, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Melvin Shoemaker, in Springs, on Monday morning, April 27, at 8:10 a.m. She was a daughter of Josiah and Malinda (Folk) Engle. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Edgar Harding, of Smokeless, (Pa.) and Samuel Harding of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Shoemaker of Springs, and Mrs. Howard Miller of St. Paul. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Russell Engle of Meyersdale; Samuel Engle of Coal Run; George Engle of Stoystown; Mrs. Francis Sipple of Jerome; Mrs. Lucinda Engle of Meyersdale; Mrs. Sally Dean of New York; and Mrs. Ida Opel of Summit Mills. Funeral services were conducted in the St. Paul's Reformed Church on April 29, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. A. J. Forry was in charge of the service. Interment was in the Church cemetery, under the direction of Wm. Winterberg, Grantsville mortician. Meyersdale Republican, May 14, 1942
