Born Oct. 24, 1918 in Elk Lick Twp., she is the daughter of the late Earl Clemens and Lucinda Elizabeth (Lowery) Ringler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Q. Harding and four brothers, Clyde E. Ringler, Robert K. Ringler, Lawrence E. Ringler and Walter R. Ringler. She is survived by three brothers, Earl S. Ringler, Karl A. Ringler, Harry L. Ringler, all of Salisbury, two sisters, Anna Marie Anderson, Radford, Va. and Louise R. Tressler, Salisbury and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harding was a retired Teacher's Aid at the Salisbury Elementary School. She was a member of Meyersdale Chapter 548, Order of the Eastern Star, Salisbury VFD Ladies Auxiliary, Salisbury Hospital Auxiliary, Charter member and secretary of the Salisbury VFW, St. John's United Church of Christ and was an Elder Emeritus. Friends were received Thurs. and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Fri. at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason Dixon Hwy, Salisbury. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Sat. at St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, with Rev. Ruth Kershner officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ.
