Born June 1, 1914, in Boynton, daughter of the late John O. and Margaret (Walker) May. Survived by a close friend, Joe Diehl, Salisbury; a son, John J. Harding, Chambersburg; a brother, James May, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Doretha Leslie, Greenbelt, Md., and two granddaughters, Lisa Harding and Amy Jessup. She had been employed at Salisbury American Legion. Member of the American Legion auxiliary, VFW auxiliary and the AARP. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. James L. Fish officiating.
