Harding, veteran mine operator, died in the Wenzel Hospital at 6:30 a.m., today (Thursday), September 4, 1941. Mr. Harding was born on September 28, 1873, in West Virginia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harding. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Wolfram of Lansing, Mich.; Mrs. Homer McKenzie, of Meyersdale; and Mrs. Clark Wagner of Salisbury; one son, J. W. Harding of Weberville, Mich., and six grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death a year ago last May. Services will be held at the Harding home, Meyersdale, R.D., on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. H. Carl Buterbaugh will have charge of the service. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, local morticians. Meyersdale Republican, September 4, 1941
