"Toots" Harding, 79, Berlin, died June 18, 1990, at Somerset Community Hospital. She was born June 5, 1911, in Berlin, daughter of Alexander and Darlie V. (Ross) Fisher. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ira H.; son, Allen H.; brothers, Victor, Archie and Glenn; and half-brothers, Lewis, Dennis and Harry. She is survived by these children: John F. "Jack," married to the former Mary Jane Bishop, and Ira F. "Bunk," married to the former Janice A. Deem, both of Berlin.; also 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was a sister of George I. and Mrs. Carl (Pearl) Yoder, both of Meyersdale, and Kathryn Bender of Cleveland, Ohio. She was a half-sister of Mary Ohler, Meyersdale. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. Also a life member of the Berlin Fire Company Auxiliary and Berlin VFW American Legion Auxiliary, where she served as poppy chairman for more than 25 years. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Ralph Mills officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery. VFW/American Legion Auxiliary services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Daily American, June 19, 1990 [H0253]
