  HARDWIG
  
    Kathryn Winifred Hardwig, 74, Accident, Md., formerly of Somerset, died
  March 15, 1996, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.  Born
  Aug, 19, 1921, in Somerset, daughter of John Henry and Eva Helene (Beachy)
  Pritts.  Preceded in death by parents; son, John Clyde Hardwig Jr.; sister,
  Helene Critchfield; and brothers, Ralph F. and John W. Pritts.  Survived by
  these children, Michael James Hardwig, married to the former Brenda
  Berkstresser, Rockwood RD 3 and Mrs. Dennis (Patricia) Pounds, Chesapeake,
  Va. and granddaughters Brooke and Lauren Hardwig.  Member of Zion Lutheran
  Church, Accident, Md. and AFSCME, 1939 graduate of Somerset High School. 
  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday at Hauger-Ziegler
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday,  Rev.
  Wilfred L. Karsten officiating.  Interment in Husband Cemetery. 
  Contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 171, Accident,
