She was apparently in good health until a week ago when she suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she only slightly regained consciousness. She had visited relatives at Grantsville only a few weeks ago when she came to attend the funeral of her brother, George O. Yommer, who died March 11. Mrs. Hare was born near Grantsville on the William Stanton farm. She had lived in this community all of her life until recently when she went to visit her children in Donora. She was a daughter of George and Elizabeth Witzgall Yommer, natives of Germany. She was the widow of Samuel Hare, who died several years ago. Eight of their nine children survive: Mrs. Asa House, New Germany; Gus Hare, Ohio; Mrs. Webster Hoover, Accident; Lillian, Finzel; Mrs. William Maras, Ralph and Lester Hare, Donora, Pa. Three brothers, John, Crist and Daniel Yommer, and one sister, Mrs. Lee Meyers, all of Jennings, also survive. The body was brought to Grantsville where it was prepared for burial at the Winterberg Morgue. Her children were expected to arrive Tuesday to complete funeral arrangements.
