  HARE, Dorothy Elaine (Engle)  08/20/07   Daily American
  
    Dorothy Elaine (Engle) Hare, 83, Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 15, 2007,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, LaVale, Md. Born March 9, 1924, in St. Paul, daughter of
  Charles and Essie (Pyle) Engle. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Robert O. Hare,
  to whom she was married 58 years. Survived by her daughter, Amy (Hare) Gilbreath and
  son-in-law, John Gilbreath, Fort Hill, and a granddaughter, Amanda Harkcom. She was a
  graduate of Meyersdale High School and spent her life as a devoted homemaker. A life long
  member of the St. Paul Wilhelm Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and writing to
  friends, acknowledging their special occasions. Over her lifetime, she enjoyed camping
  with her family and friends, riding motorcycles with her late husband and collecting
  antiques. She will be sadly missed by family and close friends.
