ELLEN HARE

  Mrs. Ellen Hare, 80, died at her home, Garrett, RD 1, September 2.  She was 
the widow of Conrad Hare, who died April 19, 1934.
  She was born Sept. 18, 1868, in Summit Township, the daughter of John and 
Caroline (Wiltrout) Schrock.  She was a life long member of Center Lutheran 
Church.
  She is survived by the following children: Howard, Mrs. John Burkholder, 
Homer, Curtis, Preston, Mrs. William Burkholder, Mrs. Norman Brant of Garrett, 
and Mrs. Martin Sanner of Somerset.  Two sons preceded her in death, Earl who 
died in 1928 and Raymond, killed in action in France, July 4, 1944.
  Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in Center Lutheran Church by 
the Rev. Glenn Keidel.  Interment in the church cemetery.
