Rev. R. G. Henson, Grantsville Methodist Minister, officiated. The body was interred Monday afternoon, in the Grantsville Cemetery. Mr. Hare was the son of the late Wesley and Anna Stark Hare, and was born at Jennings, Nov. 1, 1891. Surviving are his wife, ten children - Mrs. Viola Bittinger, Mrs. Florence Knox, Swanton; Mrs. Marshall Hare, Miss Gertrude Hare, Grantsville; Mrs. Ruba Broadwater, Mrs. Blanch Speicher, Ray, Elroy, and Catharine Hare, Oakland. Seven grandchildren, two sisters - Mrs. Lily Swauger, and Mrs. Etta Beitzel - and one brother - Ferry Hare of Jennings also survive. Mr. Hare lived near Grantsville the last three years, and was recently employed as a miner, by the Grantsville Coal Company. Meyersdale Republican, February 8, 1945
