Hare, 43, of Salisbury, died Feb. 24, 1973, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1929 in Oakland, he was a son of Mrs. Bertha (Broadwater) Hare of Swanton, Md., and the late Irvin Hare. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Bittinger; two sons, William and Brian Hare, at home; two brothers, Marshall and Elroy Hare, both of Canton, Ohio; six sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Wilt, Canton; Mrs. Lula Bittinger, Frostburg; Mrs. Viola Bittinger and Mrs. Florence Fleming, both of Swanton; Mrs. Blanche Speicher and Mrs. Ruby Broadwater, both of Oakland. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Salisbury American Legion. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. David E.
