  ROY T. HARE SR.
  
    Roy T. (Bunny) Hare Sr., 83, of 810 Memorial Avenue, Cumberland, Md.,
  died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1986, at the University of Maryland Hospital, where
  he had been a patient 1 1/2 months.
    Born in Cumberland, Md., he was a son of the late Thomas Hare and Nancy
  (Dycke) Hare.
    He formerly owned the Old Homestead Club on Virginia Avenue.  He was a
  member of the Knights of Pythias and attended Christ United Methodist
  Church.
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Virginia E. (Stewart) Hare; two sons,
  Thomas Hare, Ellerslie, Md.; and Roy T. (Ted) Hare Jr., LaVale, Md.; two
  daughters, Mrs. Gene Lauver, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Joan Haj-Shafi, Silver
  Spring, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Martz, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; seven
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Silcos-Merritt Funeral Residence where
  services were conducted Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Wayne Turner.
    Interment, Hillcrest Burial Park.
