  SAMUEL S. HARE
  
    Samuel S. Hare, 27, died June 19, near Grantsville from a gunshot wound
  which pierced his heart.
    He was the son of Sherman and Etta (Bittinger) Hare, RD 2, Grantsville.
    Beside his parents, Mr. Hare is survived by six brothers: Sylvan Hare,
  Acme, Pa.; DeWitt Hare, Basil Hare, both of Cleveland; Denzil Hare,
  Beltsville, Md.; Dalton Hare, College Park, Md.; and Adam Hare,
  Hyattsville, Md.
    Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Lena Resh, Flintstone, Md.; Mrs.
  Bernice Broadwater and Mrs. Delta Broadwater, both of Grantsville; Mrs.
  Alto Birkby, McHenry; Mrs. Erma Wilhelm, Grantsville; and his maternal
  grandmother, Mrs. Silas Bittinger, Grantsville.
    Service will be held Thursday in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville,
  with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in Grantsville
  Cemetery.
