Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Milford Township, Somerset County. Son of the late John G. and Annie (Stahl) Harkcom. Also preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Flick and Marie Bowers Koontz. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Vivan Martz; the following children: Mrs. Robert C. (Donna M.) Kerr, Homestead, Fla.; John K. Harkcom, Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandsons, Robet C. Kerr, U.S. Navy, Seattle, Wash.; Randy S. Kerr, Homestead, Fla.; and Reed A. Kerr, U.S. Air Force, Okinawa, Japan; great-granddaughter, Danielle L. Kerr; sister, Mrs. Monroe (Margaret) Emert, Somerset; four nieces and two nephews. Member of First United Methodist Church, Port St. John, Cocoa, Fla., and sang in the Chancel Choir. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a Shriner at Azan Temple. He was a member of the Shrine Azan Chanters, the North Brevard Golfers, and the Hillbillys, BPOE, International Order of The Blue Goose (an insurance organization). Army veteran of World War II. Retired Special Agent in the insurance industry. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev.
