    Dorse D. Harkcom, 86, Somerset RD 1, died June 29, 1986, at his home. 
  Born Dec. 6, 1899, in Jones Mill, Westmoreland County, son of David Daniel
  and Marilla (Vought) Harkcom.  Preceded in death by parents, four sisters,
  nine brothers, and one grandson, Andrew Harkcom.  Survived by wife, the
  former Rosalind Idona Walker, and these children: Betty Corts,
  Indianapolis, Ind.; Helen, wife of Ben E. Brown, Somerset RD 1; Colleen,
  wife of Lawrence Wilson, North Huntingdon; Ronald (Bud), Berlin; and Lloyd
  David, Somerset RD 1; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.  Brother
  of: Mrs. Mabel Shaulis, Somerset; George Harkcom, Somerset; and Alfred
  Harkcom, Kent, Ohio.  His death ends a marriage union of 60 years.  He
  served for 16 years in Company C, 110th Infantry, National Guard.  Friends
  are being received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (today) in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30
  p.m., with Mr. William Krell, Church of Christ minister, officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
