Harman, 55, of Stahlstown RD 1, went to be with his Savior June 3, 2000, in the Latrobe Area Hospital. Born Dec. 30, 1944, in Stahlstown, a son of the late Orlan Jay Harman and Carrie Pearl (Roadman) Clark. Survived by his father, Richard W. Clark of Stahlstown; his wife, Jane (Bash) Harman; five children, Wayne Harman of Stahlstown, Robin Cribbs and her husband, Daniel, of Saltsburg, Audra Beal and her husband, Larry Jr., of Latrobe, Rodney Harman of Stahlstown and Justin Harman at home; 8 grandchildren, Katelyn Rodney Jr. and Travis Harman, Chelsee Beal, Krystal and Cory Harman, and Sabrina and Levi Beal; a brother, Melvin Clark and his wife, Debbie, of Stahlstown; two sisters, Barbara Hayes and her husband, Ron, of Acme and Theresa Cox and her husband, James, of Donegal; also brothers, John and Raymond; and sisters, Linda, Sharon and Barbara. He was the owner and operator of Harman Trucking and in partnership with the R.W.R. Trucking, both of Stahlstown. Member of the Acme Open Bible Church. Mr. Harman was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received from 12-9 p.m. Monday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Ind., Route 711, Melcroft, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Russell Dunaway officiating. Interment, Fairmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Acme Open Bible Church Building Fund.
