Born Sept. 3, 1910, in Somerset County. Daughter of William and Elizabeth (Maurer) Stevens. Preceded in death by parents; husband Charles, who died June 2, 1991; and sisters Myrtle and Grace Stevens. Survived by these children: Jacqueline, married to Lawrence Hottle, and Herbert, married to the former Sadie Brant, both of Friedens RD 1; and Thomas of Blairsville. Grandchildren Jeffrey Hottle, married to the former Silvana Sidari, and Michelle Hottle, married to Ronald Lensbouer, both of Friedens RD 1; David Hottle, married to the former Pamela Williams, Somerset RD 6; and Elizabeth, married to Eric Ludy, Friedens RD 1. Step-grandchildren John, Jacqueline and Joseph Castaldo. Great-grandchildren Trisha, Tiffany, Jonathan and Jacob Hottle. Two step-great-grandchildren. Nephew Edward Stevens, married to the former Joan Sulosky, Windber. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church. 1929 graduate of Somerset Township High School. Before her marriage, she worked at the Boswell Sewing Factory. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. James R. Ling officiating.
