He was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Rome, N.Y., the son of Harry Nelson Harrington Sr. and Dorothy (Curtin) Harrington. Preceded in death by parents, and a brother, Harry Nelson Harrington Jr. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Lou Ann (Sorber) Harrington, Somerset; sons, Scott T. Harrington and wife Stacey, Somerset; Marshall K. Harrington, Shermans Dale; a sister, Mary-Charlotte Crill, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Carlotta (Brougher) Harrington, Somerset; four granddaughters, Tara, Tiffany, Cassandra and Jessica; a cousin, Charlotte Lawton, Rome N.Y.; and numerous nieces and a nephew. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Mid-Continent Insurance Co. in 1995 where he was a claims examiner. Was a member of St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, VFW, American Legion, Murray Clan Society, Royal Lifeboat Institute of Scotland, Orange Society and other civic organizations. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Forest Lawn Cemetery is handling arrangements
