She had been ill for the past five years. She was born in Elk Garden, Md., October 31, 1889, a daughter of the late Albert and Sarah E. Simpson Warnick. Her husband, Monte E. Harris, died several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Harris formerly lived in Meyersdale. Children surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George Hardman, Vienna, Va.; Mrs. Mervin Weatherholt and Mrs. Raymond Lowery, both of Alexandria, Va. Brothers and sisters are Mrs. May Knotts, Blaine, W.Va.; Mrs. William Green and Mrs. Shannon Stewart, both of Morgantown; Mrs. Henry Sayers, Pierce; W. P. Warnick, Westernport, Md.; Ervin Warnick and Darl Warnick, Morgantown, and Albert Warnick of Elk Garden, Md. Funeral services will be conducted at the Methodist church in Elk Garden on this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 p.m., with the Rev. W. E. McCauley, pastor of the Church of God of Davis officiating, and interment will be made in the Nethkin Cemetery at Elk Garden. Meyersdale Republican, November 18, 1948
