  Dewey Harris, 90, 229 Front St., Jerome, died June 6, 1988, at Memorial
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 22, 1897, in West Salisbury, son of Fred J. and Mae
  (Lambert) Harris.  Preceded in death by parents; sister, Marion Walker; and
  brothers David, Fay, Percy and Harry.  Survived by wife, former Agnes
  Murray, and these children: James F., married to former Freda Pound,
  Boswell; Myrtle Jean, widow of Roy Fulton, Jerome; Dale E., married to
  former Frances Elliot, South Portland, Maine; and Donald W., married to
  Arlene, Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Member
  of Jerome Lutheran Church and Tire Hill Local 998, U.M.W.A.  Observed 69th
  wedding anniversary September, 1987; retired miner and resident of Jerome
  since 1928.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and
  until the time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell.  Pastors Pat and Chris Ramsey officiating. 
  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
