  JOHN ROBERT HARRIS
  
    John Robert Harris, 60, of Havre de Grace, Md., died May 31, 1981, at
  Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace.
    He was born Dec. 29, 1920 in Salisbury, son of the late David E. and
  Hazel Meager Harris.  He is survived by his wife Mary Blocher Harris and
  the following children: Jerry, of Stafford, Va.; Bruce, Kay and Brian, all
  of Havre de Grace; also survived by eight grandchildren and one brother,
  David E. Harris, of Sylvania, Ohio.  He was a member of the United
  Methodist Church, Havre de Grace; a veteran of World War II; and a member
  of American Legion Post No. 47, of Havre de Grace.  He was retired from the
  Aberdeen Proving Ground, where he had been employed for 37 years.
    Funeral was conducted from the Madison Mitchell Funeral Home.  Interment
  in Harford Memorial Gardens.
