  Mary E. Harris, 83, Salisbury RD 1, died May 2, 1987, at home.  Born Jan.
  19, 1904, in St. Paul, daughter of the late Milton and Alice (Sipple)
  Bodes.  Preceded in death by husband, Fay Harris; and one son, John M.
  Harris.  Survived by four daughters: Dorothy, wife of John E. Miller, Ruth,
  wife of J. Mark James, Alice Mae, wife of John E. O'Donnell, all of
  Salisbury; and Mary Jane, wife of James M. Brown of Richmond, Va.; one son,
  William B. Harris, married to the former Esther Baer, of Salisbury; also
  survived by brother, Earl Bodes of St. Paul; and sister, Mrs. Ruth Bowser
  of Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md.; also surviving are 17
  grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Member of St. John's United
  Church of Christ of Salisbury.  Funeral service will be held Monday (today)
  at 2 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Mark J. Stewart
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
