Harrison, 79, of Stuarts Draft, Va., died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at her residence. She was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Garrett, a daughter of Pietro and Romona Sicheri. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Harrison III, and a sister, Elsie Sicheri. Survived by two daughters, Janice Hall and husband Richard of Chesapeake, Va., and Jill Garnett and husband James of Crozet, Va.; a son, James C. Harrison IV and wife Dee of Roanoke, Va.; a brother, James Sicheri of Somerset; three sisters: Mrs. Dolly Rock and Mrs. Dorothy Berkey of Somerset and Mrs. Harold Cober (Nora) of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a step-sister, Mrs. Ida Olexa of Somerset; four grandchildren: Richard David Hall, James Cameron Harrison, Jennie Leigh Garnett and James Edgar Garnett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Finley Memorial Presbyterian Church, Stuarts Draft, where she served as deacon and elder. She was active in the Presbyterian Women's Group and was a member of the AARP and Augusta Retired Educators Association. She received her bachelor of science degree from Madison College and taught in the Augusta County Schools for 27 years. There will be a graveside service for family and friends at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Augusta Memorial Park, Fishersville, Va., conducted by the Rev. Henry H. Woodall. Honorary pallbearers will be the Session members of the Finley Memorial Presbyterian Church, along with family and friends attending the service. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Harrison's residence any time.
