Harrison, 73, of Acosta, died July 22, 1987, in Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 21, 1913 in Evanstown, Westmoreland County, a son of the late Robert W. and Agnes (Wentzel) Harrison. Also preceded in death by his step-mother, Mildred (Badger) Harbaugh; a sister, Margret Bertolina; a step-sister, Mildred Hillburg; and stepbrothers, Charles and Lester Harbaugh. Survived by his wife, the former Luella Baughman and two children: Roberta, married to David Neilan, Cambridge Springs; and Patricia, married to Jack Fedor, Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren: Kimberly Jean, Robert John and Rebecca Lynn Fedor. Also a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Roberts of Bartonsville. A veteran of World War II, he served with the 8th Army Air Corps and flew 54 missions over Africa and Italy. He received the Air Medal with nine Oak Leaf Clusters and the European-African Service Medal with four Bronze Stars. He was a former partner in the B & H Machinery Company. Member of the Somerset County Republican Committee; VFW Post No. 554; F.& A.M. Lodge No. 358; Jaffa Temple, Altoona; the Scottish Rite Consistory of New Castle; Somerset County Shrine Club; Disabled American Veterans; U.M.W.A.; Jenners Rod & Gun Club; and the Silver Wings Association. Friends received 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Ramsey and the Rev. Pat Ramsey officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Masonic Services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Daily American, July 24, 1987 [H0371]
