Harrison, 100, Jerome, died Dec. 5, 2007, in Philadelphia. Born March 14, 1907, in Oklahoma, Pa., a son of Charles and Audrey (Hess) Harrison. Preceded in death by parents; wife of 73 years, the former Victoria M. Rogala on Oct. 4, 2005; daughter, Linda Gombita On Dec. 13, 2003; brothers, John, Russell and Philip Harrison; and sister, Olive Baughman. Survived by son, George D. Harrison, married to the former Dolores Negast, Yardley; grandchildren, Natalie Frost, Diane Fazio, Jeffrey, David and Michael Harrison, William Gombita and Kris Gombita-Wilson; 10 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Richard Gombita, formerly of Laughlintown; sisters, Audrey Shelbear, Lilly; and Ruth Tickerhoof, Florida; brothers, Charles Harrison, Rochester, N.Y.; Donald Harrison, Maryland; and Lynn Harrison, California; and numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws. A graduate of Kingwood High School, Kingwood, W.Va. Attended West Virginia University. Long- time coal miner having retired from the former Hillman Coal and Coke Co., Jerome. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple, and the former Jerome Lutheran Church. Enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and teasing his young grandchildren. Viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. The Rev.
