Harrold Sr., 85, Rockwood RD 2, died Oct. 29, 1981, at Spear Nursing Home, Markleysburg. He was born Feb. 7, 1896, in Youngwood, son of the late Clemence H. and Emma (Hillis) Harrold. He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel in 1979, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Robert Shannon of Kissimmee, Fla.; and Paul H. Harrold Jr., Rockwood RD 2; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was a retired plumbing and heating contractor, also a farmer, founder of Triple Creek Acres, World War I veteran, member of Somerset American Legion, charter member of the Laurel Hill Lions Club, member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, the Chapel Sunday School and Trinity Fellowship. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, the Rev. H. James Meyers and the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.
