  ERWIN L. HARSHBERGER
  
    Erwin L. Harshberger, 75, Hollsopple RD 2, died Feb. 16, 1980, at
  Memorial Hospital.
    He was born June 8, 1904, in Cambria County, son of John and Jessie
  (Kaufman) Harshberger.
    He was preceded in death by parents, daughter, Mildred; stepmother; and
  brother, John E.  He is survived by widow, former Trella Eash, and these
  children: Dorothy, wife of Tony Ramos, Scottdale, Pa.; Lois, wife of James
  Cable, Johnstown RD 4; Lester "Pete," married to former Lila Shetler,
  Hollsopple; Martha, wife of Eli D. Helmuth, La Grange, Ind.; Mary, wife of
  Sanford Peachey, Henry, Ill.; Paul, married to former Jeanne Bowman,
  Salisbury; David, married to former Joyce Kuhns, Boswell RD 1; and Carol,
  wife of Herman Mellinger, Fort Wayne, Ind.; also 22 grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of Anna Brilhart, Goshen, Ind., and
  stepsister, Miss Mary, Scottdale.
    He was a life-long member of Stahl Mennonite Church, where he served on
  cemetery board and was construction foreman during renovation.  Death
  breaks marriage union of 54 years.  He helped with construction of
  Johnstown Christian School.  Retired carpenter.
    Friends were received at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville. 
  Funeral services were held at Stahl Mennonite Church, the Revs. Curtis
  Godshall; Sanford Shetler and David Alwine.  Interment, church cemetery.
