    Sara J. (Clevenger) Hartfiel, 66, 200 Waterway Drive, Hollsopple RD, died
  May 1, 1997, at home.  Born March 3, 1931, in Confluence, daughter of the
  late Melvin and Margaret (Wheaton) Clevenger.  Loving wife, mother and
  grandmother of: husband, Jack M. Hartfiel; children: Jacqueline, wife of
  Dennis Bender, Cleveland, Ohio; Melody, wife of Donald Schuster, Southmont,
  Johnstown; Holly, wife of Dale Carr, Baltimore, Md., and Melissa, wife of
  David Egts, Richland Township, Johnstown, and granddaughters: Lindsey and
  Jessica Schuster.  Also survived by brother, Eugene, Philadelphia, and
  cousins: Alice and Margaret Wheaton, both of Sipesville.  Member of Maple
  Spring Church of the Brethren near Jerome, and the Builders for Christ
  Sunday School Class.  Volunteer at the Hollsopple Food Pantry for many
  years.  Observed 46th wedding anniversary Sept. 19, 1996.  Friends received
  from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Visitation also from 1 p.m. until the time of
  service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maple Spring Church, with Pastor Beverly B.
  Good officiating.  (No viewing at the church.) Following cremation,
  graveside service to be held later at Maple Spring Cemetery at the
  convenience of the family.  Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 168
  West Union St., Somerset, PA. 15501 would be appreciated.
