"Curly" Hartline, 86, of Rockwood, died April 13, 1999, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville. Born April 17, 1912, in Meyersdale, son of J. Frank and Ida (Miller) Hartline. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Doris, in 1998; and brother, George. Survived by daughters, Bev, wife of Tom Jerz, Central City; and Connie, wife of Jack Feathers, Davidsville; grandchildren, Troy Jerz of Spencer, N.Y.; Tara Jerz of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus, and Jarod, Joshua and Jacob Feathers, all of Davidsville. Brother of Ernest and Lester Hartline, both of Rockwood; and Alice Wade of Deland, Fla. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Member of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren and the Rockwood American Legion. He worked for the Rockwood Floral Company for 35 years and more recently was a custodian in the Rockwood school district. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.
