   Ernest F. Hartline, 93, Rockwood, passed on Feb. 9, 2007, at The Patriot. Born Oct. 2,
  1913, in Meyersdale, he is the son of the late Franklin and Ida (Miller) Hartline. He is
  preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Earl and Lester Hartline. He is survived
  by his wife of 59 years, Betty (King) Hartline; daughters, Carol Slingluff and husband,
  Michael, Germantown, Md.; and Nancy Knott and husband, Paul, Boyds, Md.; grandchildren,
  Christopher Slingluff and wife, Michelle; Jennifer Slingluff; Melessa Martin and husband,
  David; and Paul Joseph Knott; great-grandchildren Troy, Travis and Trever Martin; and
  sister, Alice Wade, Somerset. He is a veteran of World War II and a retired longtime
  employee of Rockwood Manufacturing. He was a member of the Rockwood Church of the
  Brethren who loved woodworking and gardening. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. A service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Monday at the Rockwood Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Jay Christner officiating.
  Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Rockwood
