    Blanche Marie Hartman, 84, Central City, died Jan. 6, 1998, at home. 
  Born Jan. 23, 1913, in Poland, daughter of Thomas and Josephine Barton. 
  Preceded in death by parents, sisters:  Wanda Risi, Helen Oravec and
  brother, John.  Survived by husband, Stacey A., and these children: 
  Josephine, wife of Irvin Miller, Central City; Mary, wife of William
  Overfield, Kent, Ohio; Allegra Pappalardo, Pitcairn; Stacey A. Jr., married
  to the former Pamela Lancy, Stoystown; also survived by eight grandchildren,
  11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of:  Marie
  Pollock, Thomas and Joseph Barton, all of Central City; and Josephine
  Dooley, Cairnbrook.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Thursday, with Ronald Welch officiating.  Interment Custer Cemetery.
