M. Smith, Wednesday night, Dec. 1, at 10 o'clock. She was born in Allegheny Township, February 1, 1883, a daughter of Alonzo and Annie Miller Hartman. She is survived by a son, John Hartman of Glencoe; by the following brothers and sisters: William Hartman, Sand Patch; Edward Hartman, Glencoe; Mrs. Annie Burkett, Wyano, Pa., and Mrs. Nellie Smith, Berlin, and by one grandson and one great-grandson. Prior to 1945 she was employed at the New National Hotel, Berlin, for many years. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Lebanon Evangelical and Reformed Church. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Lebanon Church, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Ira Harkins, Berlin, officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery under direction of Johnson & Son, morticians, Berlin.
