Hartman, 81, of Berlin RD 3, formerly of Glencoe, died Oct. 25, 1980, at home. He was born Dec. 24, 1898, in Allegheny Township, son of Alonzo and Annie (Miller) Hartman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Ruby Poorbaugh; one daughter, Lurene Durna; one great-grandson; three brothers; and six sisters. He is survived by daughter, Mrs. Karl (Marcelene) Brick, Berlin RD 3; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a retired foreman with the B&O Railroad. He was a member of the New Hope United Church of Christ; Berlin Council 59, Junior Order United American Mechanics; Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees; and Mountain Field and Stream Sportsmen's Club, Roxbury. Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. William C. Moser officiating. Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
