  HERMAN HARTMAN
  
    Herman Hartman died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1985, his 83rd birthday, at the home
  of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Tressler, in Jarrettsville, Md.
    He was born in Philadelphia Nov. 17, 1902, son of the late John Hartman
  and Nellie (Hatfield) Hartman.
    He was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren.
    Besides his daughter, he is survived by his widow, the former Ruth E.
  Beachy; one sister, Mrs. Edith Franey, Richmond, Va.; two grandsons and two
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services were
  conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre.  Interment,
  Salisbury Cemetery.
