A daughter of the late Samuel and Alice (Bauman) Poorbaugh, she was born on Jan. 1, 1892. Her husband died several years ago. Four children survive - Mrs. Hilda Krause, Berlin R.D.; Russell, at home; Lewis, with the armed forces in France and Mrs. Louella Maust, Berlin. She was a sister of Mrs. Nellie Keidel, Meyersdale; Mrs. Edward Hartman, Glencoe R.D.; Mrs. Albert DeLozier, Connellsville; Mrs. Earl Miller, Windber; Mrs. Charles Deist and Samuel J. Poorbaugh, Glencoe, R.D. She was an active member of Mt. Olivet Evangelical Church, president of the Ladies Aid Society, and Sunday School Worker. Funeral services were conducted in the Mt. Olivet Evangelical Church by Rev. Harry Greer, pastor, Sunday afternoon. Interment in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
