Harvey, 76, House 82, Fifth St., Acosta, died Feb. 18, 1993, in Somerset Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1917, in Kitzmiller, Md., son of Truman and Mary (Wilson) Harvey. Preceded in death by parents, sisters: Jessie Harvey, Viola Harvey, Lassie Herman, Nora Smith and Melissa Gowers. Brothers: Lewis, Robert, Olen, and Garvey, and also half brother, James Lambert, and son-in-law, Donald Berkebile. Survived by wife, the former Madeline Cornell, and two daughters: Jean Berkebile, Acosta, and Marlene, wife of Ronald Reid of Somerset RD 2; also grandchildren: Donald and Scott Berkebile; Lisa Koontz and Jolene Reid, and three great-grandchildren: Mindy and Benjamin Berkebile, and Alishie Koontz. Brother of Robertis Bailey, Acosta. Member of UMWA. Retired miner with 43 years of service. Last employed by Eastern Associated Coal Corp. Served in C.C.C. during the 1930s. Observed 54th wedding anniversary July 2, 1992. Friends were received Friday evening and will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev.
