(Cornell) Harvey, 87, Fifth Street, Acosta, died June 9, 2004, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Dec. 14, 1916, in Westernport, W.Va., daughter of Taylor and Ida Cornell. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 54 years Huey A., Feb. 18, 1993, son-in-law Donald Berkebile, brother Paul and sisters Marie and Eva. Survived by daughters Selba Jean (Berkebile) married to Edward Adams, Acosta, and Marlene K. married to Ronald Reid, Sipesville; grandchildren Donald L. and Scott A. Berkebile, Lisa (Berkebile) Koontz, Jolene (Reid) Barnes, great-grandchildren Melinda and Ben Berkebile, Aleshia and Aubrie Koontz, Tyler and Lexi Barnes. Sister Mildred Gagliardi, Ridgley, W.Va., and brother Leo, Elk Garden, W.Va. A member of the Acosta Church of God. A 1937 graduate of Elk Garden (W.Va.), High School and was honored to serve as class valedictorian. Dedicated housewife who lovingly enjoyed taking care of her family. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. The Rev. Duane Koontz Jr. officiating.
